G-Plan Egg Chair

A couple of years ago, I recovered a G-Plan egg chair, bought on Ebay, in Ikea fabric. Here is the result.

When G-Plan first brought out the Egg chair in 1962, the designer, Gomme, announced that it was the 'Worlds' Most Comfortable Chair'. It was undoubtably inspired by Arne Jacobsen's Egg Chair of 1958, as it's very similar in design but plainer. It is very comfortable!
