Sorry that I haven't written a post in ages, but the school holidays have rather taken over! Anyway, it seemed timely to write a quick post about the
Braderie de Lille which will take place in just over a week.
Lille Braderie is Europe's largest antiques, flea and bric-a-brac market. It is said to have over 200 kilometres of pavement stalls. Taking place on the 1st and 2nd of September, this annual event is a tradition which dates from Medieval times. The
Braderie lasts for 48 hours, during which it attracts two million visitors.
